I’m Sharing All the Secrets They Don’t Teach You
Lessons, frameworks, and insider notes from a top Boston business school for aspiring entrepreneurs.
Welcome to MBA for Entrepreneurs.
The secrets of business and entrepreneurship
There is a well-known university in Boston, well right ouside of Boston, that is home to some of the most intelligent and successful people on the planet. For legal reasons, I am not going to name my school, since I’ll be sharing a lot of what we learn behind the scenes.
Now, my university’s alumni include everyone from Presidents (yes of the United States, not just companies) to CEOs to billionaire founders/entrepreneurs. And what do these people love more than having power or making money? Giving back to my university that taught them all how to succeed.
I, a current student and former founder of a startup, am going to share the same frameworks, readings, and lessons taught inside the walls of one of the world’s most prestigious business schools, so aspiring entrepreneurs can learn them too.
I don’t need this to start a busines…..
Yeah, I know what you are thinking. I’m the same way. I always thought I could do it myself and learn on my own.
But as I searched the internet for real insights, its all the same bullshit. Some nobody trying to sell you their “secret, proven method” to get more sales. DO NOT fall for it. DO NOT waste your time or money.
So why is this substack different? Because who I am doesn’t matter. I’m not claiming to have the secrets to starting a business. That’s ridiculous, nobody does. Sometimes, it is pure luck that you succeed.
But I have access to information that you never will. This is information that people pay close to $80,000 a year just to have because it comes from the best university in the world. It is information that thousands of people apply to have access to each year, that only hundreds get. And those hundreds, well they have gone on to do some big things.
Ok, pause. Lets address your other concerns….
1. Experience is more important than education
Yes and no. I agree that when starting a business, experience is a factor that can’t be taught. Just look at Jensen for example. He has spent decades building NVIDIA. Experience is extremely important, but it takes time.
What I am offering you is structure. Frameworks, mental models, lessons, and advice from renowned professors and alumni used them to build real companies. These ideas teach you how to think like an entrepreneur. Sure you may have the experience but what have you done with it? Do you know what to do with it? How do you validate your ideas before burning money? What are the key metrics you need to be tracking to demonstrate product market fit? The list goes on and on.
I get that it’s overwhelming, but I am going to pass on the knowledge that I am being taught every day. It’s not just theory, its actionable insights.
2. Why can’t I just find this information online for free?
Well, I wish that was true. I wouldn’t be paying this much for business school. But I am ok paying because I know you can’t find this information anywhere else (I’ve tried). It’s hard to go online and find real advice from founders and CEOs, but they come to my classes and speak. No cameras, no fluff, just advice. Because if they are going to give money back to the univeristy, they want the current students to be successful.
Now back to the important thing: money. I get it, I hate paying for unecessary things. But I will always invest in knowledge and education because, if you listen to any great business leader, CEO, or entrepreneur, they always say the same thing: learn as much as possible.
This substack is set to cost less than the price of one textbook (pray for me). I genuinely believe this is the best value per dollar you will find anywhere on the internet. A world-class business school education, without the exams or stress or expenses, for a sliver of the cost. Yeah, thank me later.
3. Why am I giving away this knowledge?
Shouldn’t I just shut my mouth and take this information to build a billion dollar company? Well that’s the plan. I am in the process of building two companies, while balancing full-time business school.
However, I hate the current state of “business education” online. Its all AI slop, information overload, recycled threads, and overpriced courses taught by people who have no idea what they are talking about. I realized there’s a gap: people crave real, structured, trustworthy knowledge, so I’m sharing what I learn here, straight from the source, as I learn it.
This Substack is also my personal notebook. As I learn, I’ll share my notes, frameworks, readings, key takeaways, and reflections so I can organize my own thinking while helping others do the same. As I build and grow new businesses, this becomes both my reference and your roadmap.
If any of this sounds useful, stick around. We’re just getting started.
